Guillaume Basset is an expert in French industry and regions. He was the Chief Operating Officer of the Association of the French Regions, after which he held different positions at the Ministries of Economy and Territories, including Deputy Director (2018-2020), and Director of the Program “Regions of Industry”(2020-2022).
He joined Business France in 2022 as Deputy to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Invest, overseeing the Regional Attractiveness and Strategic Major Projects Department.
He was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Investment Division in July 2026.
