A look back at Ambition Africa 2024
Organized by Business France, Ambition Africa has established itself as the benchmark business event, aiming to promote exchanges between the African continent and France, while strengthening economic and trade ties.
Placed under the high patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and under the supervision of the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, as well as the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, this sixth edition of Ambition Africa was held on November 19 and 20, 2024, in Paris.
A bridge between two dynamic economies
Ambition Africa serves as a dynamic platform, where businesses can explore collaborations in varied sectors, ranging from agribusiness and technology to infrastructure, healthcare and energy. The event embodies the common desire to build lasting partnerships and tackle global challenges together.

Ambition Africa is not just for large businesses; the event also welcomes startups, SMEs and mid-size companies. This reflects the diversity of business key players and their role in the economic transformation of the two continents.
In 2023, Business France:
- Supported 2,200 French SMEs and mid-size companies in Africa
- Organized more than 60 collective events in Africa
- helped 515 VIEs take up positions with 206 companies
- Identified 25 investment decisions in Africa.
Ambition Africa in a few figures:
- 2,500 participants, including 900 African entrepreneurs from 43 African countries.
- 2,200 B2B meetings.
- 17 round tables.
- 110 high-level speakers.
Ambition Africa continues to play a central role in bringing together economic ecosystems, demonstrating a mutual commitment to growth, innovation and bilateral cooperation.
