French innovation at the heart of Davos 2026
From January 19 to 23, 2026, Business France participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos, in Switzerland, alongside a record delegation of 23 French businesses from strategic sectors, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), DeepTech, the Ecological Transition, New Space and FinTech
Led by Pascal Cagni, Ambassador for International Investment and Chairman of the Board of Business France, this presence confirmed France’s ability to position itself at the heart of major global economic and technological transformations.
A showcase of French expertise
In Davos, France showcased businesses capable of providing concrete solutions to the ongoing transitions:
- Deeptech & Artificial Intelligence: Quandela (quantum computing); Quobly (quantum technologies); Safran.AI (formerly Preligens – AI for defense); Bioptimus (AI applied to healthcare).
Cybersecurity & Digital Sovereignty: Sekoia.io (pro-active cybersecurity); Riot Security (digital security solutions); Ledger (blockchain and digital asset security).
Space, Defense & Connectivity: Exotrail (space propulsion systems); Aldoria (space surveillance); Eutelsat (satellite connectivity).
Energy Transition & Green Industry: Sweetch Energy (renewable energy); Dioxycle (carbon dioxide transformation); Séché Environnement (circular economy and waste management); Verkor (low-carbon batteries).
Robotics & Industry 4.0: Exotec (robotics for logistics); Pelico (industrial optimization via SaaS).
FinTech & SaaS Solutions: Qonto (digital bank for SMEs); Pigment (financial management and data).
Strategic exchanges for the future
During the summit, Business France organized three themed lunches, each day bringing together a select group of decision-makers, investors and entrepreneurs. These meetings aimed to create targeted business opportunities and re-affirm France’s industrial ambitions.

A strong political signal conveyed by the presence of President Emmanuel Macron
On Tuesday, January 20, on the sidelines of the global meeting, Business France brought together around one hundred business leaders, foreign investors and the 23 entrepreneurs in the French delegation for a meeting dedicated to strategic connections and future partnerships.
The presence of President Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by French government ministers Nicolas Forissier and Benjamin Haddad, as well as Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy, Stéphane Séjourné, and Clara Chappaz, France’s Ambassador for Digital Affairs and Artificial Intelligence, underlined the importance of this event: affirming France’s role as a key partner for innovation, the sustainable transition and responsible growth.
