VivaTech 2026: Business France mobilizes the international ecosystem to fast-track the global development of French startups
To mark the occasion of the 10th edition of the Viva Technology conference, which has become the leading European platform for innovation and technological sovereignty, Business France is mobilizing its international network to connect French startups with international buyers, investors and partners, to promote French technological excellence and to support their international development.
As investments in strategic technologies – such as artificial intelligence, deep tech, cybersecurity, health and energy transition – continue to intensify, VivaTech 2026 is reaching a new milestone, with nearly 180,000 visitors expected, up to 15,000 startups and more than a thousand international investors and decision-makers.
This edition also puts Germany in the spotlight, illustrating the strengthening of Franco-German cooperation in the service of European innovation and technological sovereignty.

A strengthened Business France system to support the international growth of innovative firms
Located in the heart of Hall 7.3, near the German pavilion and the main national pavilions, the Business France stand will be the focal point of the French presence at VivaTech . It will bring together 36 startups selected for the relevance of their solutions in artificial intelligence, data, deep tech and technologies supported by the “France 2030” initiative.
Throughout the event, conferences, round tables, pitching competitions and networking opportunities will allow these businesses to present their innovations, to compare their solutions with market expectations and to engage in dialogue with major international players in innovation.
This momentum will continue at the Business Plaza, with a program of targeted meetings between French startups and nearly 80 international decision-makers drawn together by Business France offices in 30 countries, with the aim of transforming the profile offered by VivaTech into qualified contacts, business opportunities and new avenues for international growth.
A particular focus on international co-operation and Franco-German relations
Germany, the featured country for this 2026 edition, occupies a central place in Business France’s setup. Several dedicated events will bring together businesses, investors and institutional stakeholders to foster the development of technological and industrial partnerships between the two countries.
Beyond the Franco-German relationship, the Business France teams will also highlight the opportunities offered by many strategic markets, particularly in the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN), Brazil, Canada, India, the Mediterranean and Saudi Arabia.
