Business France and its partners fast-track the international development of the French cybersecurity sector

Several major players in the French security and digital trust sector signed a partnership agreement today aiming to strengthen their co‑operation and to promote this sector internationally. The signatories included the Strategic Committee for the Security Industries sector, Business France, the Alliance for Digital Confidence, Hexatrust, the Cluster of Excellence for Cyber Technology (Pôle d’Excellence Cyber) and the Cyber Campus. This collective commitment illustrates their shared ambition to support French excellence in cybersecurity and digital trust.

This agreement seeks to create a unified sector‑based community under the name “Team France Digital Confidence – Cybersecurity”. This initiative is intended to promote the development of the sector through practical actions, including establishing maps of employees and priority export markets, identifying new issues and needs, as well as implementing action to support the international development of the sector.

“This agreement marks a key stage in our alliance with partners in the security industry sector. Together, we are joining forces to promote French excellence in digital trust and cybersecurity, a sector that already accounts for more than €7 billion in annual revenues and employs nearly 40,000 people in France. Our ambition is to support French businesses in increasing their share of international markets, particularly in identified strategic countries, where demand for cybersecurity solutions is expected to grow by 10% per year in the coming years.”

The signing of this agreement is part of Business France’s ongoing efforts to support French businesses in their expansion abroad and to strengthen France’s competitiveness in international markets.
